VTLC Supports Contractors in Resolving Logistics Challenges for the Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Project

VTLC, a member of Vantage Logistics Group with extensive experience in project logistics and international transportation, has successfully completed the customs clearance and transportation of multiple shipments of project equipment and materials for a key contract package under the Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project.

After years of suspension, the Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project is gradually resuming implementation. While contractors are working to meet project schedules, the restart has also brought a range of unresolved issues related to imported and exported equipment from previous project phases. These challenges have created additional complexity in maintaining supply chain continuity and advancing project execution.

To support the contractor throughout this process, VTLC’s project logistics specialists worked closely with all stakeholders to review and address customs and regulatory issues associated with the cargo. Through proactive consultation and coordination, VTLC helped facilitate the necessary conditions for the contractor to proceed with the project package efficiently and in compliance with applicable requirements.

In addition to advisory and procedural support, VTLC was responsible for customs clearance and transportation services for project-related shipments continuously since May 2025. All cargo was delivered safely and according to schedule, contributing to project progress while helping the client optimize logistics costs.
