On September 24, Vinh Tan International Port received the Sun Gold, carrying factory equipment for a wind turbine blade manufacturing plant. With a deadweight capacity of 45,000 DWT, the Sun Gold is the largest vessel ever to call at the port, marking a significant milestone in its ability to accommodate and handle large vessels.

• Deadweight Tonnage: 45,000 DWT.
• Length: 185 meters.
• Draft: 10 meters.
• Cargo: Factory equipment for a wind turbine blade manufacturing plant.

According to Thai Binh Duong Group, the vessel’s berthing and cargo discharge operations were carried out safely and efficiently, demonstrating the port’s operational capabilities in handling large vessels.

Vinh Tan International Port is located in Vinh Hao Commune, Lam Dong Province, serving as an important logistics gateway connecting Vietnam’s South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions.
Port Infrastructure and Handling Capacity:

• Berthing Facilities: Two berths designed to accommodate vessels of up to 50,000 DWT and one berth capable of accommodating vessels of up to 100,000 DWT.
• Designed Cargo Handling Capacity: 8 million tons per year.
• Port Infrastructure: Bulk cargo storage yards, general cargo handling areas, container yards, silos, bonded warehouses, and modern crane systems supporting various import and export cargo operations.
