Successfully Completed the Transportation of Aircraft Recovery System from the Netherlands to Vietnam
Project Information

This is the first European-standard aircraft recovery system ever imported into Southeast Asia, marking a significant milestone in enhancing aviation safety capabilities in Vietnam.
Transit Incident at Hong Kong Port: During the transit, the cargo’s HS code and description contained the term “aircraft”, which raised concerns with Hong Kong Customs about the cargo potentially being classified as strategic commodities. According to Hong Kong regulations, if a shipment is misclassified under sensitive or military-related categories, it may be automatically denied entry at the transshipment port, posing a risk of delay for the entire project.
Urgent Multi-Time-Zone Coordination: Vantage received a warning only two days before the vessel’s arrival in Hong Kong. The project team immediately activated an emergency handling plan, working around the clock with stakeholders across three time zones – the Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Vietnam – to prepare and submit all required documents and justifications to the shipping line and Hong Kong Customs in time.
On-Time Delivery Secured: Thanks to extensive project handling experience and quick response in high-risk situations, Vantage ensured the cargo was cleared smoothly at the transit port and delivered to Vietnam on schedule, meeting the client’s timeline requirements..
