Successful Transportation Of Equipment For Carmichael Rail Network Project From Thailand To Australia
Vantage Logistics (VLC) has successfully transported cargo under the Carmichael Rail Network project, handling a large workload and reaffirming its capability in managing complex project cargo while meeting the stringent requirements of customers.

Project Information:
1 PKG/ 17.905 mL x 3mW x 4.1mH x 57,250 KGS
1 PKG/ 12.605mL x 3mW x 3.425mH x 23,010 KGS

Scope of Work by Vantage Logistics:

The cargo was stored at a factory in Saraburi Province, far from Thailand’s industrial and service centers. The survey, cleaning, and fumigation planning according to Australian standards posed significant challenges and additional costs. However, VLC proactively coordinated personnel and equipment to complete the work on schedule.

The project had a tight timeline, coinciding with major holidays such as Christmas, New Year, and Lunar New Year. VLC demonstrated flexibility in planning and arranging vessel schedules to meet customer requirements, while closely monitoring and providing daily updates to ensure no delays.
Australia imposes strict import standards on machinery hygiene, requiring the use of specialized chemicals and materials, some of which could impact workers’ health during implementation. VLC strictly followed procedures, ensuring the cargo fully met the requirements and was successfully imported.

Regional Connectivity and Cargo Handling in Southeast Asia: Vantage leverages its strength in connecting partners and handling cargo across Southeast Asia, particularly on cross-border transport routes. With an extensive network of partners in the region, VLC ensures effective coordination from surveying and cleaning to inland and international transportation, meeting the stringent standards of each market.
